Cookies Bite Size Life Lessons - Mulberry ToysMichelle (co - owner - loving life, her family, and running a funky toy store) - I'm a sucker for books. I don't think I've ever walked out of a book store without making a purchase. My pick this month is Cookies: Bite - Size Life Lessons by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Jane Dyer. This book is a new find for me. In other words, it's a book that wasn't around when my children were younger. Not only do I love it, but it's the top selling book in the store....mainly due to the fact that I make everyone take a look at it when I'm working. The book uses the familiar topic of cookies to teach the meaning of words that are sometimes hard to explain to little ones...words like gratitude, pride, or humility. Add incredible illustrations to the mix and you've got a book that simply can't be resisted.

Stripes the Bunny - Mulberry ToysVanessa (co - owner and funniest woman Michelle knows) - I am such an old soul. I was 80 when I was born; I feel more like myself everyday because I am finally catching up with my age! Old Souls like me love a toy that goes back to yesterday - a time when life was much simpler. One of my favorite Mulberry friends is Stripes the Bunny. I can't help but think about my grandmother (and yours, too) when I look at him. Stripes looks exactly like the kind of bunny Granny would have had. He conjures up feelings of home and warmth and family and the truth that no matter where you are, you can take all of that with you.

Morphibian Gator - Mulberry ToysHal (Mulberry Man - Guy with many talents winner of the true patience award for working with a bunch of crazy ladies) . Hey, I'm a guy and guys love cars. My favorite is the Mighty Morphibian. Get this, it's a remote control that can run on land and in the water. I truly wish this had been around when I was a kid. It's great for creeks, driveways, or maybe even the tub!

Ernest the Balancing Bear - Mulberry ToysJessie (Mulberry Sales - Has the voice of an angel and the heart to match) I pick Ernest the Balancing Bear. We have this guy in the store and he's just too cute. You see, this bear balances on a string that runs from the front door to the middle of the store....high above the heads of all customers. It's easy to make him ride. Simply raise one end or if you attach him to the door, open the door and off he goes. He balances and never falls off and his little legs actually pedal. He's just too cute!

Phase 10 Card Game - Mulberry ToysLindsey (Mulberry Sales - Has a heart that reaches out to others and a smile that lights a room) A game is always a great gift and one of my favorite games in the store is Phase 10. I have played with kids that I babysit, but have also played with my grandparents. With simple directions that have a different aim for each of the ten phases, it's a game you can play over and over again without tiring. My favorite person to play Phase 10 with is my grandfather. After each hand, we have to debrief about what he should have done and his strategy behind each move he made...it makes for quite an interesting experience.

RC Tarantula - Mulberry ToysAddie Lu (Mulberry Dog...size XS) - Addie's favorite toy this month would have to be the R/C Tarantula. She's not sure how it works, but one day.... one day...she will get that spider!

Fishing in the Tub - Mulberry ToysSydney (Mulberry Dog...size L) - Sweet Sydney is just a big old baby, and Addie's tarantula would scare her to death! But how she does love the water! She even enjoys her bath. Sydney thinks everyone would enjoy bathtime even more with one of Mulberry's tub toys. Her pick is Fishing in the Tub. With 4 colorful fish swimming around in the tub with you, even the unluckiest fisherman just might take home the big one.
