We’re both big believers in the power of journaling. Keeping a journal of your child’s response to thought provoking questions as well as a few silly questions is a great way to mark a moment in time. You can use your own journal and the prompts below, or click here to print the PDF document that we’ve provided and add the pages to a notebook of your own each month.
Here’s another thought on journaling…why not go back a year later and record your child’s answers to the exact same questions. It might be fun to see the changes, growth, and maturation.
- What is your favorite time of the day?
- Why?
- What is your least favorite time of the day?
- Why?
- If you could plan an entire day to be just as you’d like, tell me what you’d do. Don’t forget the details.
